A bounty hunter Milo discovers that his up coming target is actually his ex-wife Nicole, a reporter doing work on a murder cover-up. He believes all that is down the track is an quick payday, however while Nicole gives him the slip so that she will be able to pursue a lead in a killing cover-up, Milo finds out that absolutely nothing ever turns out easy with himself and Nicole.
